COLLAGE

In the midst of making paintings on canvas I usually do a little side hustle with collage.  These are mainly small and on paper or mountboard but more recently have been done on cradled board.  As a rule there is no subject involved or title appended.  It is merely the act of placing a piece of paper on the support, placing another near or on top of it and carrying on in that way until I feel it is balanced and finished.  Occasionally there will be marks made with oil pastel or pen
